Terms of Service

1. The service
Bounce Barrier, operated by Marketiff Ltd, verifies email addresses. You can check a single address, upload a list, and download the results. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You need an account with a valid email address to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act for the organization you sign up with.
3. Credits and payments
Verification runs on prepaid credits. Credits are consumed per verified address, and results we cannot determine (returned as unknown) are not charged. Payments are processed by Stripe. Purchased credits do not expire. If a payment is refunded in full, the credits from that purchase are removed from your balance.
4. Acceptable use
The service exists to clean lists you already have the right to contact. You may not use it to validate harvested, purchased, or scraped address lists for spam, to discover addresses you have no relationship with, or in any way that breaks applicable law, including anti-spam and data protection law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or degrade it for others.
5. Your data
The lists you upload remain yours. We process them only to produce verification results for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your lists, share them with third parties for their own use, or send mail to the addresses in them.
6. Accuracy
Email verification is probabilistic by nature. Some mail servers accept every address, and some large providers do not reveal whether a mailbox exists. We report these cases as catch-all or unknown rather than guessing. We do not guarantee that every address marked valid will accept mail, or that every bounce is prevented.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and fast, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Section 5 survives termination until your data is deleted.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
